New courses for 2010

Dementia Care

Brooks and Kirk are running a brand new short course in Dementia Care starting in 2010.

The standard of dementia care is very much in the spotlight at the moment. It has been highlighted by the CQC as a priority area for training.

The BBC and Open University have also produced a documentary on the subject presented by Sir Gerry Robinson. In it he explores the question of what is "good care", and how can it be achieved without it impacting on profits.

In response the the growing need for quality accredited training Brooks and Kirk are offering the:

NQF Level 2: BTEC in Dementia Care.
